The Swing ...

(Layout credits - Kit: Artlines 6 Jamieson by Tracy Ann Designs, at SBB. Messy Cream Stitching, Drop Shadow Action by Katie Pertiet, from DesignerDigitals. My photo edging. Font: Typist, Times New Roman.)

We were fortunate to live near my parents for 18 months when Tash was a baby, and we enjoyed visiting every fortnight. They had missed out on the boy's 'babyhood' as we were 12 hours apart, so it was nice to share our little girl with them. My parents lived on forty acres up in the hills, so there were lots of fun things to do ... a big treehouse that the boys built, swings, gokarts, lots of bushwalks, a pool ... it was a fun time for us all. One year it wasn't so fun, as we were almost forced to evacuate because of a raging bushfire. Fortunately it turned at the last moment, and we didn't have to leave.

I promised a look-see at Tracy Ann's new kits, and the pretty things on the shelves at DD this weekend, so with no further ado ...

This is the kit I used for my Swing layout above, called Jamieson, in the Artlines 6 collection. And here is a new kit from DD ... called Winged Collection No. 1. I am still looking for the right photo to use with this very beautiful kit! Just look at those butterflies ...

Now what else can I tempt you with ... oooh, I know. Look at this one ...

It has a great embellishment pack that you can buy as well, and it's coming up soon on my list of kits to scrap! Soooo ... all inspired? Ready to shop and scrap? Did I mention that we are on holidays ... for TWO WEEKS??? Oh. I did! Okay, off to scrap some more ...
